By Drew Gurly: I had the pleasure of interviewing Rayko, a Tokyo-born, Los Angeles based bilingual composer, singer, producer, and a multi-instrumentalist.

She is the lead singer and guitarist for the international rock group “Lolita Dark” and has toured across the U.S and Japan.

Raykos’ songs have been featured on the two-time Emmy winning Amazon Prime series, “The Man in The High Castle”, and films such as “The Wolves of Saving Hill” featuring late Michael Massee of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”.

Rayko Talks Dreaming Music and Doing Good

Music has been a huge part of Rayko’s life since the age of four, and there was never a question that it would be in her professional future. Eventually, she left Japan to pursue a career in the U.S., which she has been creating and performing ever since. The multi-talented artist composes for film and TV in addition to creating music for her own band and beyond.
